President: Jenny Ozcan
Jenny majored in instrumental music at Simpson College in Indianola, IA, where she was principal flutist of the Symphonic Band for two years. After Jenny moved to Rochester in 2012, she quickly realized she needed a musical outlet. She found it in the Rochester Flute Choir and has been there ever since. Jenny loves playing anything on her flute, but she especially looks forward to Christmas music.


Vice President: Andrea Parrish

Andrea is a seasoned flutist who began her musical career in North Carolina. She studied under Christine Laroche, principal flutist of the North Carolina Symphony, and competed in state solo and ensemble contests, played in All-State Band and Orchestra and the North Carolina State University Wind Ensemble as first chair. Andrea has spent many years teaching flute lessons, as well as performing at weddings, churches, and in pit orchestras. She plays the C flute, piccolo, and alto flute with the Rochester Flute Choir.

Treasurer: Esther Boettger

Esther has been playing the flute since the early 70's and joined RFC as one of its first members. She is also a member of the Zumbrota Community Band, as a percussionist. Music is essential for Esther; if she’s not playing it, she’s listening to it. Playing her flute is the best stress reliever, it makes her happy and complete.


Artistic Director: Dwight Jennings

Dr. Dwight L. Jennings is a former conductor of the Southeastern Minnesota Philharmonic Youth Orchestra (2015-2017).  He retired from Rochester Public Schools in 2015 after 35 years of service in education.   Most of his work in education was served as Principal of Kellogg Middle School, here in Rochester.  Dr. Jennings remains active as a member of several local music groups (IBM Jazz Band, Rochester Flute Choir, First Presbyterian Recorder Ensemble, Rochester Pops Orchestra, First Presbyterian Choir).  He continues to study, teach and perform on string and wind instruments.  Dr. Jennings holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Music Education from Virginia State University, a Masters of Arts in Music Education from The University of Iowa, and a Doctorate of Philosophy in Music Education with a Music History minor, from Indiana University.


Marketing Director: Kristine Wagner

Kristine Wagner has pursued careers in language teaching, project management, and technical communication. She was principal flutist at two band camps during high school, and her flute solo won an “A” in the state music contest. At college, she was accepted as a member of the Gustavus Adolphus Concert Choir. She remained active in choirs and small vocal ensembles in the intervening years. She picked up her flute again in the spring of 2015.
